What They Needed
Lexington Barbecue, a beloved North Carolina institution since 1962, needed a modern website that honored their legacy while improving usability and online ordering. Their previous site was outdated, difficult to navigate, and hard to manage internally. They wanted a fresh design that highlighted their history, simplified their online store, and worked seamlessly on all devices.
What I Did
I built a custom Squarespace website that captures the authentic, down-home spirit of Lexington Barbecue while improving functionality across the board. I restructured the layout for a smoother user experience, created a mobile-friendly design, streamlined their e-commerce setup, and made it easier for staff to manage content. The result is a modern, inviting site that tells their story, drives online sales, and makes visitors crave a plate of ‘cue.
